Four things decide whether a logo can be priced without a round of questions: the artwork file, the position, the size, and the number of colours.
Send vector artwork where you have it — AI, EPS or a clean PDF. A screenshot or a small JPEG can be redrawn, but the redraw has to be approved before anything is printed, and that approval is a step in the schedule.
Tell us the position as a measurement, not a description: how far from the edge, how wide. Two buyers can both say “centred on the front” and mean two different sizes.
Colours are the usual surprise. One colour in one position is the standard print included in the reference price. Each extra colour, each extra position and each gradient is a separate pass and a separate cost, and we say so before the order, not after.
