The problem
Three products, one logo, one promised date, and a client who did not want to explain three shipments to their own customer.
What we did
- Confirmed the three products and the artwork in one pass, with one set of approvals.
- Held the quantities together so the freight was calculated once for the whole kit.
- Checked the goods before packing, then assembled each kit before it left.
The detail
A distributor had promised a client a single delivery date for a welcome kit: a tumbler, a notebook and a tote, decorated with the same logo. Three suppliers would have meant three production schedules and three chances of a late carton.
The kits were packed as kits, not as three products, and shipped on one schedule.
